The Wilson Print Catalog

Cardinal Moments Photography was born from the ashes of grief, a tribute to my mother's life and legacy. It is a celebration of the beauty and impermanence of life, a testament to the lessons she imparted about cherishing every moment. The Wilson Print Catalog is the heart and soul of this mission. Each photograph in this collection is a reflection of my mother's love for nature and her profound influence on my art.

From the very beginning, my mother, Diane Wilson, was the heartbeat behind my love for photography and the natural world. Growing up in Ohio, she instilled in me a deep appreciation for nature and the fleeting beauty of wildlife. My journey into photography began at the tender age of 13 when she gifted me my first camera for Christmas, a gesture of her unwavering support for my artistic expression. That camera became an extension of my soul, capturing the wonders of nature that my mother had taught me to cherish.

Deliberately limited to just 63 prints per piece, each image in the Wilson Print Catalog honors my mother's 63 years of life. Every print comes with a certificate of authenticity, providing more information about the subject and location of the image. This is a nod to my mother’s insatiable curiosity and love for learning about the world around her.
Our bond was more than just mother and son; it was a partnership in exploration and creativity. She was my biggest cheerleader, encouraging me to see the world through a lens and find beauty in every moment. Her support was a constant source of strength, even when life took unexpected turns.
By purchasing from the Wilson Print Catalog, you are not only acquiring a piece of art but also contributing to a cause close to my heart. Fifteen percent of each sale goes directly to the Sarcoma Foundation of America, supporting research and awareness for the disease that took my mother from us.
Then, in 2022, tragedy struck our family. My mother was diagnosed with Spindle Cell Sarcoma, an aggressive and rare form of cancer. Her passing was sudden and devastating, leaving a void that seemed impossible to fill. Yet, in her death, I found a renewed sense of purpose. My mother's battle and her unwavering spirit became the foundation upon which I built Cardinal Moments Photography.

Cardinal Moments Photography is more than a business; it is a legacy of love, resilience, and the transformative power of art. Through the Wilson Print Catalog, my mother’s spirit lives on, inspiring others to find beauty in the world and to appreciate the preciousness of each fleeting moment. Thank you for joining me on this journey and for helping to keep my mother's memory alive through the art she inspired.
